Welcome to the Little Thetford Acorns Pre-School and Children’s Clubs website. At Little Thetford Acorns we are able to offer flexible childcare for children aged from 2 years 7 months until school age from 7.45am until 6pm.

Our pre-school sessions, in conjunction with our breakfast and after school clubs, which are also open to primary school aged children, run during term time and our holiday club is available 8am until 6pm during most school holidays. We strive to provide a secure, happy and stimulating environment where your child will learn through play, make independent choices and develop strong bonds with their peer group, older children and adults. We hold many events within the setting and others which are also open to the wider community. Our events page has information about what activities we have planned including fundraising events. As a registered charity we rely on our children, parents and the wider community supporting these events to continue the growth of our setting and fund some of our events for the children.

As a registered charity our parent volunteers who make up the Little Thetford Acorns Committee meet once a month to discuss aspects of the setting such as staffing, finances, policies and fundraising. We always welcome new members and ideas. Please visit our committee section for more information and details of the next meeting.

We welcome enquiries and visits to Little Thetford Acorns by prior arrangement. Please contact us if you wish to discuss any aspect of the setting.   • Bonus Ball – if you “buy” the bonus ball for Saturdays lottery draw, you take home half our takings for the week – see the poster in the lobby or speak to Annie for more information.
  • School Vouchers – we are still collecting TESCOs and SAINSBURYS vouchers. The closing date is approaching so please pop any remaining vouchers in the box in the lobby, thankyou for giving to Little Thetford Acorns.

  • 12 and 13/6/12 – Father’s Day Shopping Event at pre-school. Details regarding the event have been sent home in your childs folder.
  • 7/7/12 – Little Thetford Acorns Mini-Olympics event 2-4pm on the village playing field. Lots of fun for all the family see our EVENTS page for more details
  • 30/7/12-10/8/12 – Summer Holiday Club please see our BOOKINGS FORM, short days up to full days available between 8am and 6pm. 10% discount for bookings prior to 6/7/12
