Fees & Funding

The Government provides 15 universal hours of funded, early years education to all children the term after they turn 3 years old.

For younger children in families with a low income or in receipt of certain benefits, they may be entitled to 15 funded hours of childcare or early years education. For details of how to apply, please visit Funded hours for eligible 2 year olds | Cambridgeshire County Council .

Eligible working families are also able to apply for 15 funded hours for two year old children. This can increase to 30 hours the term after the child turns 3. For information on eligibility, visit the Childcare Choices website.

As Little Thetford Acorns offers 30 hour funded places, the following hourly fees are only relevant for children under 3 who are not eligible for funding, or children attending pre-school for more than 15 hours per week who are not eligible for 30 hours of free childcare.

Information on all the national childcare offers, including Tax-Free Childcare and 30 hours free childcare can be found on the Cambridgeshire County Council website Childcare Choices. If you have any questions, please contact us.
