Fees & Funding
We accept bookings for children eligible for government funded childcare, including Working Parents' Entitlement (up to 30 hours), we are taking bookings for children from the age of 2 years and 3 months.

Eligible families are able to apply for up to 30 funded hours for children 9 months and over. For information on eligibility, visit the Best Start in Life parent hub. This includes families where both parents are in work, and families in receipt of certain benefits.
The Government provides 15 universal hours of funded, early years education to all children the term after they turn 3 years old.
Information on all the national childcare offers, including Tax-Free Childcare and 30 hours free childcare can be found on the Cambridgeshire County Council website. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Tax-Free Childcare can be used to pay for childcare costs at Little Thetford Acorns. Payments can be made directly to Little Thetford Acorns once your account is set up and linked to us as your childcare provider. Tax-Free Childcare is a government scheme that helps eligible families with the cost of childcare. Parents apply online and set up a Tax-Free Childcare account, into which they pay money for childcare costs. For every £8 paid in, the government adds an extra £2, up to a maximum contribution each year.

As we provide a morning snack each day, we would be very grateful if parents would consider making a donation towards the cost of snack.
We do not charge for nappies, as parents are required to provide their own.
